Agon: an orgin story, prolouge

1000's of years ago (more or less)

Long ago in ancient China Dragons lived in peace with humans, but when an foolish Sorcerer became jealous of the Dragons power, he attacked! The battle was long and hard, but the Sorcerer was eventually defeated! The other humans witnessed this great battle, and thought the Dragons had attacked their loved Sorcerer. As punishment they banished the Dragons underground never to be seen or heard from again.

The Sorcerer then rejoiced because he had stolen some of the Dragons power and placed it in his wand. Now with his mortal enemies defeated he tried to use his new power. He failed to control it. 600 people died.

The Sorcerer knew he couldn't destroy his wand so he hid, and during the construction of The Great Wall he made a secret room and placed his wand inside the Wall itself! Though the Sorcerer decided that hiding his wand wasn't enough, he had to fix his mistakes. So along with the power, he placed a piece of his own soul in the wand, in hopes that one day he would find a prophet to find the Dragons and bring them to upper-earth. That day he decided his prophet would be Agon.
