Update Post

Hey guys!  I know its a been an unacceptablely long time since my last post and I apologize for that.  With school starting back up it's been hard to find tome to post but i will be doing better.  But I'm not just here to apologize!  I also have another thing to say!

*Ahem*  I have working titles and plot outlines for Agon and Gallatian!  The Gallatian story proves that I've watched "Aliens" twice because it is called: "Gallatians"!

While the Agon story will be dubbed: "Agon: The Search"!

Keep in mind that both stories are still work progress and I do promise a Sara Raft story.

Well then, that's all I have to say so "Th-Th-Th-That's all folks!"

War Of Dragons, Part 14

By the time we reached the town square, pretty much every Dragon was there, including Grarr and Tw'One.  In fact Tw'One was at the front.  She was standing in front of everyone, almost like she had taken charge.  But everyone seemed to be fine with it so I didn't say anything.

"My fellow Dragons!  He voice boomed across the crowd. "Our patrols have found a human army coming due north of us!"  Immediately the noise in the crowd grew, and it began to quiver.  "They should be here in thirty minutes!" She continued. "That gives us enough to time to prepare.  I suggest that we do so." Then she stepped down.

During her speech, Grarr had managed to squeeze his way to us and we were standing together in a circle.

  "So it begins." said Grarr.

"What are we going to do?" whispered Scott.

We'll have to fight." I tried to sound brave but it was hard. "I'll probably be on Grarr during the fight."

"No problem." muttered Grarr. "It's what I was raised to do."

"I'll be on the ground, I guess." said Scott. "I'm going to try and help push them off."

"We could just leave!" I said. "Technically, we don't have to fight."

"And what would Darsk say?" asked Grarr.

I sighed, "He would say that we have to defend our home.  I guess we'll fight."

"I'm going to go prepare." whispered Scott. "Just don't... don't die."

"I won't I promised." and he kissed me on the cheek before he left.

I sighed and looked after for him for awhile but then Grarr said, "What was that?  I thought humans only did that when they were in love." I glared at him. "Joking, just joking!"

"How about you?" I asked. "Are you ready for this?"

Right then Grarr looked about the most serious I had ever seen him, "Abigail, I wasn't joking when I said I was born for this."

We laughed a little at his joke, but it just turned into awkward silence.  None of the Dragons in that crowd had stepped up, no one was volunteering to make a plan.

Then Tw'One came up to me.  yeah, she approached me and asked, "Abigail?  I know we aren't on best of terms but I need you."

  "Why?" I asked.

"Because you're the only one here who really knows what we're up against.  I need you to go up there and talk to the others, and maybe even improvise a plan?"

  "Why not Scott?"

"Because you're the Dragon Rider!  It's about time that you embraced that role."

I'll be honest, I hesitated she had hit me where it hurt.  Bringing up the riders?  I think it was a little out of line.  But it worked, she got me to do what she wanted.

  "I'll do it." I whisperd.

"Good." she sniffed. "But you better do it quick."

She was right, there wasn't time to think.  So I motioned to Grarr to follow me and I walked straight to the head of the crowd.

Then I said, "Hello?  My name is Abigail Sobe, some of you may know me as the Dragon Rider." All the heads there turned and a hush fell over them as I started to speak.  "I've been asked to put together a battle plan for you guys and I will.  We just need to think.  The army will be able to parachute troopers in and they will have aircraft.  Thankfully there won't be any tanks because they won't be able to lift them down here."

"How will we fight those?" one of them asked.

"Well...  I need at least ten dragons covering entrance, they can start to attack the second things start to fall in."  Ten of the Dragons in the crowd flew off. "The human troopers will be easy to beat, so I need about a fourth of you on the ground.  Then I want the rest of you of you in the sky taking out the jets and copters."

"What about you?" a voice asked.

"I'll be on the front lines bringing support to those who need it.  Now lets get going!" A yell ringed out from the crowd and I jumped on Grarr.  Then the entire army we had just put together took offf toward the enterance.
