Gallatian: Cosmic Savior, Part 1

Every moment of my life had lead to that. Every dream, every tear, every moment of pain, all to that. You see my name is Jeph Wolfman. My looks are plain though. Tall, black, black hair, and from what I'm told, ears that stick out.

That's not the point though, the point is that I'm was about to be sent into space. I had worked hard for it though. Because aside from having to go through extremely tough training. I had to work even harder to make sure I could control my asthma. All the doctors I went to said I couldn't go in to space, but what do they know. Because after I  trained hard enough, those same doctors said I would be fine. Heh, I think doctors are the only people who can do that.

Just the loud speaker crackled to life. "All astronauts to the flight deck." it yelled. Wordless I walked to the rocket. I climbed in. I strapped in. I listened to the countdown intensely. So did the others. I heard the rumble of the engines, and I remembered being thrown back in my seat as gravity tried to pull me down while the rocket carried me up. Then in the blink of eye it stopped. I was in space. I remember it like it was yesterday, which it might have been.

Then our Captain, Taylor said "Gentlemen we are in space."

Do you know what's it like to complete your life goals? Do you? It is amazing! I highly recommend it. It makes you feel like you just conquered the world and you want to do it again. Whenever you set your mind to a goal there's always a little voice in your head telling you "Work, Work,Work!" when you complete it that voice  shut ups!

It was amazing! I had just looked out the window and saw the rest of the universe. Space is beautiful. You can see pictures of it, but it's really humbling to see it up close. You can really take a step back and look at Earth as one part in the greater machine.

"All right people we have to get this ship ready to dock with the station." It was the Captain again, reminding us we had a job to do. You see we were actually out here to do some repair work on a satellite. I was the actual mechanic to fix the poor thing, so there wasn't much I could do in docking the ship.

As everyone else swarmed to place the rocket. I kept looking out the window. Marveling at well space. Then I saw something that changed my life forever. "Hey.." I said. "...is that a man out there?" I pointed the black and orange man to anyone that passed. Soon there was a crowd...of five people.

"What's going on?" asked Captain Taylor. I pointed and she saw, and the man saw us. He turned his head and showed he wasn't a man, he was a robot. The last thing I remember was the alarms as the ship blew into pieces, and everything going dark.

Gallatian: Cosmic Savior, Prolugue

The beginning of time

Long ago there was nothing. Then there were the Creators, they shaped the universe into what it is today. They're reasons we're simple, they were bored. You see they were actually part of a group of thousands Creators and all those Creators worked to build one huge universe. Then the three that created our universe left to create their own. There were only three so theirs was smaller, but they were proud of what they accomplished. So they created the basic elements and basic life and let it evolve from there. Our universe was a clean slate to doodle on.

Yes everything was good and the Creators felt pride. Though one day tragedy struck. A race called the Ba'don created a machine that went on to destroy their planet. An entire race died that day. The Creators were horrified something like this ever happened, so they created an entity that would seek hosts to become the savior of the universe. To save the universe from itself.

Agon: An Orgin Story, Part 7

Let's just get one thing out of the way, you know before we get to the drama of my sister being alive, flying is AWESOME!!! The speed, wind and view make the best way to travel. Though I could do without the scales.

I was approaching on the Golden Gate Bridge, but as I got closer my fears were confirmed. It really was Detective Terrior and he really did have Bridgette, my sister. "YOU!!!" I screamed at him dropping hard down on the bridge tower.

"Yes me." He replied calmly. I started to charge thinking about whether I should burn him or slash him. "Uh-uh. If  you come closer your sister dies." I thought he was bluffing, I mean come on he had nothing in his hand. Then he took his hand away from Bridgette's head and FLAMES came out. Yes Fire. He shot freaking fire...looking back it was ironic seeing how I'm half dragon now. "Let...her...go."

"Not until you give me what is mine." All of a sudden I new who he was.

"There is no Detective Terrior."

"Ding ding ding! You guessed it."

"You're the man who pulled me out of that red lightning."

"Yep." Then he changed from from Detective Terrior to an older at least fifty man. He had grey hair and red eyes. That's all you really need to know about his looks. He looked the same as when I met him two years ago. "Good job August. Though I don't think you would have guessed if I hadn't lost control over my form."

"Hence the red eyes."

"Exactly now..."

"Wait that thing is August? My brother August!" said Bridgette. It kind of hurt how she called me "that thing".

"Yes dear."

"Why is he here? You told me he burned our house down, but after all this..."

"He told you what!?" I yelled

"Yes well... I lied it was me."said the old man.

"What?! I've been living with you for two years! And you're telling me it was two years of lies!"

"Just about sums it up. Now August if you let me take your power I'll let your sister go."

"You can't do that."

"Sure I can! Where do you think I've been for two years. I've learned dark magic. That's how I changed shape! I'm kind of a Dark Sage. Oh I think I'll call myself that."

I'll admit it was tempting. I would stop being scaly and get my sister back, but would she even trust me? I didn't know all the lies he told and it's hard to stop hating someone once you start. Then there were the dragons, I could save them and maybe even start a new civilization with dragons and humans and I would be there for both sides. *Sigh* I have too much morality.

"No."

"What?"

"I said no."

"You're a fool all of you! You get power and what do you do? You try to save your sister and a race that is long dead!"

"The dragons live and you know! Maybe I am a fool but at least I'm liked."

"Now see there is a foolish statement. Do you really think you are going to be accepted. By dragons or humans. And when you do find the dragons how do you know the humans and dragons will go to war for control of Earth?"

"I can't sit around thinking of ways things can go wrong. I have to do, to make actions, and then clean up the mess if there is one. If my intentions are good I think I'm already using this power better than you. What would you do with it? Rule the world?"

"Yes. With that power I would have a dragon army to conquer and control."

"That's mad. What gives you the right to rule? That is the most insane thing I've ever heard."

"What gives me the right to rule? The fact I can, and aren't we all crazy? I think you prove that. Though questions aside here's another: do you want your sister." I nod, so does Bridgette. "Then go get her!" and he throws her off the bridge. Time slowed. I heard Bridgette's scream and the Sage's laugh. I push off the bridge...swoop down...and catch her.

I bring her back up and put her down. The Sage turned to run but I flew straight into him. Knocking him down. Then I don't really remember anything but I do remember.

Red,

Slashing,

Screaming,

Crying. Then I came out of my trance and found myself...standing over the Sage's torn body. Bridgette was crying, and I was surprised to find so was I. I tried to approach her, but she just shrank back away from, and who could blame her? I had just lost control and killed a man. I tried to speak but no words came out. Then I noticed cops coming up the bridge so I left.

Remember how I never gave a described myself pre-mutation? Well that's because I don't even remember what I looked like

Prologue

That moment hurt... a lot. Dark Sage was right no one would accept me not even my sister. Then a voice came into my head "August are you okay?"

"Just leave me alone Long"

"Okay"

I was thinking, probably to take my mind off what had happened, but what I thought was important. There were lot's off people with powers popping up. It seemed like there were new ones everyday. Good, bad, or even neutrals, people who hid their powers. Well if people are getting powers that means man is evolving, but for what?

I don't know like I said I probably thought of it to keep my mind off the events that was my life, but if I'm right we are going to need heroes, and I don't know much, if nothing, but I do know this.

My name is August Summers. I'm going to save the world and the dragons. I am one of the heroes and I am...Agon.

Chapter 1

I cower in the corner of my small, dirty cage.  I ask myself how I got here, but I don’t want to access the memory.   I have waited for death since my birth, but have not gotten it yet, and I wonder why.
It’s just a normal day, I don’t keep track any more, and it bores me.  A young girl enters the room, with a slightly older boy by her side.
“Mala, I want that doggie over there,” She points a finger at me.  I look at her, trying to understand her reasoning, but find nothing.
“Ola, if that is what you want, then that is what you will get,” The boy says.
The cage keeper takes my cage and brings it to the boy, Mala.  He takes my cage and looks in, “You shall be very happy in your new home, I hope we may be friends.”  He says it, almost saying it to himself, for he thinks I cannot understand him, but I can understand him all too well.  He doesn’t want me; he is only obeying the wishes of Ola, the girl.
“We could’ve gone to a better location to find you a pet,” Mala says with disapproval.
“You cannot disagree with me, for if you do, I can sue you,” She says threateningly, which doesn’t suite her, for she acts like a princess.  “Here I can do some good, at other places I just take in the well and perfect, but mom won’t let me.”  She obviously doesn’t want this either, but she looks at me like I am the most perfect thing in the world.
The cage keeper starts talking to Ola and Mala.  Talking about me, how to take care of me, yadda, yadda, yadda.  The cage keeper says how I’m nameless, female, and how I’m not classified in the ‘dog’ category.
“We have a male just like her, and he needs a friend, so SHUT UP!” Ola yells sending me farther down my cage.  The cage keeper leads us out, and I am enclosed in a very long, black 4-wheeled vehicle.
“First, I’m going to dye your fur pink! And get you into a bath.  Your brown, I can’t stand brown.  We will have to start with the bath to get the filth out, and then we’ll see what we can do with your fur,” Ola says into my cage.  I spring up, to attention.  Even though I am only a pup, I know I could do damage to these two if I wanted to, but there is a smell on them I want to explore, one that is calling for me, that can’t make me stay away.
Ola opens my cage, and holds out a basket with a pillow in it.  What does she expect from me, does she honestly expect me to hop in?  She is very impatient and after a minute she reaches in the cage and attempts to grab me.  She pulls her hands out, complaining her nails will get dirty if she touches me yet, so Mala grabs me.  He doesn’t squeeze me, and I do not resist.  If I am to survive in this world, than I must allow myself to trust some human abomination.
He puts me in the basket and pets me with his white gloves, which automatically get filthy.  He holds a bit of my fur, and brushes it, trying to see my real color, but failing.
We reach a monstrous mansion, where we walk in.  Am I going to be forced to live in this hell of a home?  Relax, and go with the flow.  We first enter into a patch of tile leading to a staircase.  We walk up it.  Onto the second floor, only to walk up another flight, onto the third floor, which is where the stairs end, but of course we keep walking.  We go down a wooden floor hallway, into a room which smells of cleanser.
Ola leaves the room, while Mala stays, holding me in my basket.  I look down to see another pup.  He is gray, white and black, with expectant eyes looking up at me.  Mala sets me down and takes of his gloves.  I finally see him, he is middle teen at most, and young teen at least.  He has light blue, stormy eyes, expecting something but not getting it.
“I am Nekzen, what is your name?” The pup asks me.
“I have no name,” I reply, not knowing how he would respond.
“What is your name?” Nekzen repeats.
“I have no name,” I repeat.
“What is your name little one?” Mala asks.  He looks at me and says, “I think you look like a Jaila,” He says smiling.  “My name…is…Lona.”  I say to myself.  Mala looks at Nekzen, and he spells ‘LONA’ on the floor.  “Lona it is,” he says, a true smile, one that is able to reflect in one’s eyes.
He plops me in the tub, the shine still there as he chants my name.  “Lona, Lona, Lona…”  Mala sings.  Nekzen chimes in.  He jumps in the tub with me when the water came gushing out of a tube.  I try to avoid the water, but Nekzen takes the chance and takes all the water for himself.  He sees me not enjoying myself and he bounds over, and chases me.  I am much faster, stronger, and courageous that him, but in my week state I collapse.
Mala brings the tube over and pours water all over me.  He gets another tube and it produced a shiny blob on his hand.  He sloshes it together with his other hand and rubs me all over with it.  I look at the water, and Nekzen is standing right in it.  The water has turned brown, but Nekzen still does not move.  I roll over, and Mala does everywhere he couldn’t get before.
He rinses me, and gasps when he’s done.  “You’re beautiful,” Nekzen and Mala say at almost the exact same time.

I look at myself in the mirror Mala takes over.  I see a mature pup, a little skinny, but beautiful.  I am pure white, long white fur.  I have a black patch like a scar over my left eye.  My paws are black, and the tip of my tail is black.  I look much like Nekzen, with long fur and a tip at my tail, but other than that, I am new, and I realize this is the real Lona, the one to show the world.  I know I will only live to trust Nekzen and Mala, and if I ever get the chance, I will escape with Nekzen, after attacking, and hopefully killing Ola, but not Mala, he will have the pleasure of not being eaten alive.

Agon: An Orgin Story, Part 6

I "awoke" under the bridge. Still on the run, still unchanged. "What the heck was that?" I thought. "Maybe I should start writing if I can dream up something like that." In fact I was completely writing it off as a dream which technically it was. "That's what it was just a dream... though being chased by cops wasn't... neither was punching Detective Terrior. I wonder if I'll ever find out what his "evidence" was." I thought to myself. You're probably thinking I'm insane because I talk to myself. I would think someone else is insane if they did, but it's not like I have anyone to talk to.

I got and started to walk figuring maybe I could find food. You'd be surprised at how running makes you hungry... oh wait... never mind. As I wander aimlessly, it's not like I could go back to the orphanage, I came across a window full of T.V.s wayyyyy to expensive to buy. I noticed the newscast that was playing. The oh so cheerful reporter said

"We're coming to you live where this man in a trench coat has taken a young girl hostage. The man has been identified as Detective Jack Terrior who says he won't let the girl until he finds August Summers. The police have the situation well in hand. Well on the lighter side watch this dog skateboard!!!" I stumbled back in shock. A third because of Jack Terrior the detective. A third because they gave a skateboarding dog more air time, and a third because that girl was my sister. June Summers. My sister they couldn't find. Then out of nowhere I heard a voice in my head.

"August to save your sister you must accept the powers."

"You again? I thought you were a dream! What's your name anyway. My mom said never to accept gifts from strangers... even when they are voices in my head..."

"August! Focus! My name is Long. I am the sorcerer in your dream. Now do you accept these powers and the responsibilities that go with it."

"What choice do I have?"

"Good now hold still the pain will be brief."

"Pain! You didn't say anything about pa..." Pain then exploded through my body and everything went dark.

I woke up in a alley way. Mysteriously moved there by something. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, then I noticed my hands were red, and covered with scales. Let's just say I handled it maturely. O.K. I screamed.

"August! What is wrong?"

"I don't know I have scales! What do you think is wrong?! You said powers not mutation!"

"Of course you have scales. You're a dragon."

"No I'm not."

"What?"

"I still have two legs and I'm the same height, waittt you were going to turn me into a dragon?!"

"Of course. What better to find dragons then another dragon? Now let's see what went wrong." Long started to hum. Which was getting annoying since it was in my head.

"Ah here's the problem. Remember when you were pulled out of the energy at the Great Wall? Well when that happened you only adsorbed half of the power. So when I triggered the transformation you became half dragon half human. You gained the dragons tail, wings, snout, and fire, but you kept your own body shape and mind. Wow a hybrid."

"Well it'll have to do." Then I looked at my wings, jumped up and started to fly toward the Golden Gate Bridge. Where my sister and Detective Terrior were.
