Gallatian: Cosmic Savior, Part 1

Every moment of my life had lead to that. Every dream, every tear, every moment of pain, all to that. You see my name is Jeph Wolfman. My looks are plain though. Tall, black, black hair, and from what I'm told, ears that stick out.

That's not the point though, the point is that I'm was about to be sent into space. I had worked hard for it though. Because aside from having to go through extremely tough training. I had to work even harder to make sure I could control my asthma. All the doctors I went to said I couldn't go in to space, but what do they know. Because after I  trained hard enough, those same doctors said I would be fine. Heh, I think doctors are the only people who can do that.

Just the loud speaker crackled to life. "All astronauts to the flight deck." it yelled. Wordless I walked to the rocket. I climbed in. I strapped in. I listened to the countdown intensely. So did the others. I heard the rumble of the engines, and I remembered being thrown back in my seat as gravity tried to pull me down while the rocket carried me up. Then in the blink of eye it stopped. I was in space. I remember it like it was yesterday, which it might have been.

Then our Captain, Taylor said "Gentlemen we are in space."

Do you know what's it like to complete your life goals? Do you? It is amazing! I highly recommend it. It makes you feel like you just conquered the world and you want to do it again. Whenever you set your mind to a goal there's always a little voice in your head telling you "Work, Work,Work!" when you complete it that voice  shut ups!

It was amazing! I had just looked out the window and saw the rest of the universe. Space is beautiful. You can see pictures of it, but it's really humbling to see it up close. You can really take a step back and look at Earth as one part in the greater machine.

"All right people we have to get this ship ready to dock with the station." It was the Captain again, reminding us we had a job to do. You see we were actually out here to do some repair work on a satellite. I was the actual mechanic to fix the poor thing, so there wasn't much I could do in docking the ship.

As everyone else swarmed to place the rocket. I kept looking out the window. Marveling at well space. Then I saw something that changed my life forever. "Hey.." I said. "...is that a man out there?" I pointed the black and orange man to anyone that passed. Soon there was a crowd...of five people.

"What's going on?" asked Captain Taylor. I pointed and she saw, and the man saw us. He turned his head and showed he wasn't a man, he was a robot. The last thing I remember was the alarms as the ship blew into pieces, and everything going dark.
